As
President, Mary provides the intellectual and strategic leadership
for CFC’s development. During her tenure as Director,
Institute for the Future (IFTF), she developed IFTF’s China
work and formed the partnership with Peking University and developed
the Center for the Future at PKU. The depth of Mary’s China
expertise spans almost 10 years of strategic
applied research work in
China which examined the role of science and technology in economic
growth, and included studies on the rising role of Asia and China in
the Global Silicon Network.
